Theater Mogul is an international theatrical production agency. Its business approach is to buy plays directly from the playwright, so that the company can then license the rights and produce productions. They typically target shows that require very few actors and can be produced inexpensively. Their current production is Defending the Caveman, which has played in over 30 countries and is currently touring the United States with nine actors alternating the single role.
The office in New York is a small one, consisting of fewer than ten people who specialize in areas such as general management, advertising, and booking. I will basically be filling in the gaps wherever they need help. Hopefully I'll get experience in several areas of arts management. Should be a good time.
